There is currently a leadership void in the pharmacy profession. This includes not only developing new leaders, but also the need for pharmacists to step-up and complete for leadership positions with the focus on impacting positive change in practice and patient care. This session includes a discussion by the presenter about the gaps in leadership in pharmacy with thoughts on why those gaps exist. The session will also discuss leader development in pharmacy and the importance of pharmacists being willing to assume leadership positions. The session will conclude with the opportunity for audience interaction via Q&A.
