Have you ever wondered what role pharmacists play outside of the United States?  Or maybe you’re an avid traveler who takes time to visit pharmacies in other countries, but often wonders what innovation could be considered back in the US.  Attend this session to learn about the role of the pharmacist in countries outside of the US and the clinical pharmacy innovation occurring around the world.  

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the pharmacist’s role in countries outside of the United States. 
  • Discuss how pharmacy has evolved in countries outside of the United States. 
  • Recognize differences in global healthcare payment structure and how they impact the profession of pharmacy. 
  • Identify resources available to learn more about international pharmacy innovation.
