I am a P3 dual-degree candidate at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. I anticipate graduating with my PharmD, MBA in the spring of 2025. Germaine to this presentation, I served as a research intern at Hartford HealthCare's Integrated Care Partners (ICP) under the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Sean Jeffery. While at ICP I conducted data collection and analysis on the use of statins in individuals with diabetes. The goal of this project was to expand pharmacist collaborative care services within a population of Medicare Advantage individuals who were eligible for the Statin Use in Persons with Diabetes quality measure. Additionally, I helped create statin educational collaterol for providers and patients. I also work remotely as a data analyst under Dr. Jennifer Girotto for Connecitcut Children's Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. Upon graduation I intend to explore opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within regulatory affairs.
Beyond my academic responsibilities, I am active within Phi Delta Chi, work at Rite Aid Pharmacy (3 years) and volunteer at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church in Brideport CT.
