Marilee Clemons, PharmD, BCACP is a Clinical Associate Professor and Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed her BS in Biology, BS in Chemistry, and PharmD from Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Winchester, Virginia. Marilee completed two years of residency within The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy Residency Program focusing on clinical practice and academia.
Marilee is the Lead Clinical Pharmacist in the University of Toledo General Internal Medicine Clinics where pharmacists utilize collaborative practice agreements to manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia. As a pharmacist in the clinic, she assists providers in development of therapeutic drug plans and appropriate monitoring of medications. Within the Division of General Internal Medicine, she co-chairs the internal quality improvement committee. Additionally,she spends time with pharmacy students on rotations, pharmacy residents, and medical residents and enjoys working within a team-based, collaborative care environment.
