Dr. Jessica B. Finke currently services as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Associate Director of PGY-1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program (CPRP) at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s (PBAU) Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy. Dr. Finke completed both her PGY-1 CPRP and Enhanced Community Pharmacy Services Fellowship at Palm Beach Atlantic University, in West Palm Beach, FL. During these two years of post-graduate training, she gained experience in the community-based pharmacy setting through development and implementation of patient-centered enhanced services at independent community-based pharmacies. Dr. Finke teaches over-the-counter medications, self-care, health care delivery in community-based pharmacy, critical pharmacy knowledge, and migraine prophylaxis and treatment therapy options. She services as co-advisor of the student chapter for National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and the Beta Phi Chapter of Phi Delta Chi (PDC) Chapter. She services as the ACT Champion for American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s (ACCP) ACT (Academia-Community Transformation) Pharmacy Collaborative and is a participant of the 2023-2024 Community Pharmacy Practice Transformation Educators Badge Program. She is an active member in her state pharmacy association, Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA), national pharmacy organizations, as well as a luminary for Community Pharmacy Enhanced Service Network (CPESN) Florida. Current research interests include expansion of community-based pharmacy practice through development and implementation of enhanced services, development of enhanced service coaches, transformation in pharmacy payment models, and transformation in pharmacy workflows.
