Dr. Kayla Antosz is a clinical instructor at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and the lead statewide antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist for the Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative of South Carolina (ASC-SC). Dr. Antosz's practice focuses on expanding antimicrobial stewardship initiatives to healthcare systems across South Carolina, with a focus on rural and underserved patient populations. She graduated from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2019 and completed both her post-graduate year 1 and year 2 training in infectious diseases at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC. Her current research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and quality improvement initiatives.
