Lauren Lakdawala, PharmD, BCACP is a Clinical Coordinator III at Johns Hopkins Care at Home, Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy. She created the fertility and high risk pregnancy pharmacy programs and also is responsible for the growth hormone and rare disease programs. Lauren’s passion for women’s health has allowed her to author and deliver educational programs on contraceptives, pregnancy, and menopause. Lauren completed her Bachelors of Arts from Virginia Tech and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in 2013. She completed an ASHP accredited PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group in 2014 and earned her Board of Pharmacy Specialty Ambulatory Care credential in 2015. Lauren serves as a residency preceptor and on the Resident Advisory Committee in her employer’s PGY-1 Community Pharmacy program and precepts APPE pharmacy students in community and specialty pharmacy. She previously has served the profession in variety of leadership roles, most notably as APhA New Practitioner Advisory Committee Member at Large and Maryland Pharmacist Association Speaker of the House and Board of Trustees Member at Large. This past year she served in the APhA House of Delegates on the Policy Committee and as a Maryland delegate. Currently, Lauren is serving on the APhA-APPM Policy Standing Committee, Maryland Delegate, and co-chair for the MPhA Advocacy Committee for 2023-2024 year. Lauren resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband and enjoys anything involving the beach and skiing.
