Katherine Rotzenberg, PharmD, MBA, BCPS is the program administrator for PearlRx and teaching faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy in 2007, then completed a PGY1 residency at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital-Madison. After residency, she continued at SSM Health providing decentralized clinical services as a staff pharmacist and serving as a drug information pharmacist until 2014. At that time, she stepped into a clinical pharmacy manager role with oversight for the pharmacy and therapeutics committee, medication safety, PGY1 residency program, pharmacy student experiences, and outpatient drug information services. In 2017, she joined the Social & Administrative Sciences division at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, teaching in the areas of ethics, public health, management, medication safety, and pharmacy law. She began working with PearlRx, a practice-based research network of pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy students across Wisconsin, in 2018; the network now includes over 1,200 members. The PearlRx network has collaborated with researchers on more than 20 projects, supporting patient safety, advancing pharmacy services, and public health initiatives.
