Dr. Ha Phan is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care residency at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and a PGY-1 Community Based Pharmacy Residency at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group. She practices in three different clinics which include med/peds, pediatric endocrinology, and pediatric weight management. She mainly manages chronic disease states and assists with pharmacotherapy selection and adjustments. Her interests include ambulatory care service implementation and evaluation, optimizing processes within residency training and pharmacy education, and the advocacy of pharmacists providing services. She has served as the recent coordinator of the Preceptor SIG for APhA, communications/education committee chair for the Preceptor SIG, and and has been an APhA member since her P1 year of pharmacy school. She also serves as one of the co-advisors for UMSOP's APhA-ASP chapter.
