Elizabeth Yett, PharmD, BCACP, TTS is the Assistant Dean of Student Success and a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Tyler Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy in Tyler, TX. She currently precepts introductory and advanced students at her practice site providing ambulatory care pharmacist services at Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants clinic. She teaches course topics such as tobacco cessation, cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, reproductive health, diabetes complications, point of care testing, and ambulatory care skills. Her research interests include cardiovascular risk reduction with pharmacist-led services, immunization advocacy, and tobacco cessation efforts in East Texas. She is currently the Chair-Elect of APhA's Preceptor Special Interest Group and is passionate about encouraging new faculty to become involved in organizations like APhA.
