Dr. M. Chandra Sekar, R.Ph., Ph.D., FAPhA, FIPA
Dr. Sekar obtained his B.Pharm and M. Pharm from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, that was followed by doctoral work at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and post-doctoral work at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1988-1998. Following seven year as a hospital pharmacist at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, Dr. Sekar joined University of Findlay, Ohio, as Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2007. He was promoted to full professor with tenure in 2013 and now also serves as the International Ambassador for Pharmacy Education for the University of Findlay. He was selected as Fellow of American Pharmacists Association in 2013 and Fellow of Indian Pharmacist Association in 2019 and was awarded the Indian Pharmacists Association’s M. L. Khorana Memorial award and B.M. Mittal Memorial award from his Alma Mater BITS in 2018.
