Even with pharmacists being highly accessible healthcare professionals, there are still challenges in reaching the entire patient population in need, especially those individuals who face barriers when trying to visit pharmacies. What can pharmacists do to support patients living in pharmacy deserts? In this session, we will explore the impact of pharmacy deserts on health equity and discuss potential solutions to transform these underserved areas ensuring equitable access and improved health outcomes for all.
