Douglas Huynh, JD

Director of Congressional Affairs
APhA

Douglas Huynh, JD serves as the Director of Congressional Affairs at APhA. In this role, he serves as the primary federal lobbyist at APhA, and advocates for pharmacist policy issues on behalf of the organization. Prior to coming to APhA, Doug recently served in a similar capacity with ASHP for 3 years, Doug also served as a lawyer and a lobbyist in a number of other healthcare-related organizations. He has an in depth understanding of the healthcare landscape and the issues that impact pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare providers, as well as excellent relationships on Capitol Hill and a strong knowledge of the political process. Doug graduated with his Juris Doctor from the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
