Saley Traore-Uwalaka is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) , a graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, and a current Senior Fellow at the Howard University College of Pharmacy. She completed a Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she developed an interest in Transitions of Care and a passion for improving outcomes for medically underserved and underrepresented. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with the Medication Management Clinic, she spearheaded several clinical initiatives that focus on improving clinical outcomes for Heart Failure, Diabetes, COPD and anticoagulation patients.
She is passionate about developping inovative clinical programs that improve outcomes through improving access to brand medication in medically underserved patients.
