Cynthia Knapp Dlugosz [duh-LOO-gōzh], BSPharm, NBC-HWC, was one of the first national board-certified health and wellness coaches in the United States. She received her coaching training through Duke (University) Integrative Medicine and served as an instructor in the advanced certification program. Cynthia also is a certified mindfulness teacher with more than 25 years of experience in mindfulness-based practices.
Cynthia speaks and writes frequently on topics related to resiliency and well-being, stress management, mindfulness, work/life integration, and health behavior change
Cynthia received her pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a residency in hospital pharmacy at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She is founder and CEO of Artemis Health Care Communications, a consulting firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Artemis Health Care Communications specializes in the development of written, live, and Web-based continuing education programs for pharmacists and other health care professionals. Before moving to Ann Arbor, Cynthia held increasingly responsible positions at several national pharmacy associations, including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, National Association of Chain Drug Stores, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and American Pharmacists Association.
