Steven Miller, BSPharm, is the Vice President of Pharmacy Services for 340B Health, a nonprofit organization of more than 1,500 hospitals and health systems participating in the federal 340B drug pricing program. In his role as Vice President, he works closely with the Pharmacy Services Committee to identify and resolve operational issues affecting 340B hospitals and health systems. He also provides technical assistance and develops pharmacy tools and other materials for members to facilitate understanding and compliance with 340B rules and regulations. Since 2015, Miller has served the Virginia Pharmacist Association Research and Education Foundation as a Board of Trustees member, serving as Treasurer for 5 years. He has worked in independent community pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy practice, and health system outpatient and inpatient practice. Before joining 340B Health, he was Director of Pharmacy Business Services for the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Va., and clinical assistant professor for Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy UVA Campus. He received his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy and maintains an active pharmacy license in Virginia. Miller enjoys living with his wife and teenage children just outside of Charlottesville, VA, gardening and experimenting with plants deer should not like to eat.
