Responsibilities
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pat coordinates+100 Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) and assist the company in meeting targets related to equity, inclusion and diversity.
Experience
Pat has a shared position funded by a collaboration with University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. In this role at UC, Pat works with diverse high school students to improve the pipeline for the college, coordinates training programs for faculty, staff and students; lectures, and chairs the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee
Pat began her career with Kroger in 1990 as a Pharmacy Manager. She has held several positions within the company including Pharmacy Coordinator, and Pharmacy Category Manager. In addition, Pat has earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Six-Sigma Greenbelt certification and recently she became a Certified Diversity Practitioner.
Recognitions
In 2019, Pat received the Second Act award by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The program honored Pat who started a new career path in Diversity and Inclusion after building success in the field Pharmacy. In 2021, Pat was honored to receive the Progressive Grocer Top Women in Grocery recognition. This recognition recognizes overall excellence and achievement among female leaders in the Northern America retail food industry.
Education
Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Howard University and an MBA from Grand Canyon University. She earned a Diversity and Inclusion certification from Institute for Diversity Certification.
Personal
Pat currently works with the Cincinnati Pharmaceutical Association and is a lifetime member of the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA). She also serves on board of the NPhA Foundation.
A native of Detroit, Pat enjoys meeting people and traveling. She resides in Cincinnati with her husband Howard.
