Matthew R. Machado, Pharm.D. is currently a Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy-Boston. He successfully completed a residency in community based practice with Walgreens and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In his current position, Dr. Machado maintains an advanced community practice site at the Walgreens in Chelsea, MA. Dr. Machado serves as the residency program director and primary preceptor of the Walgreens and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy-Boston, residency program. Dr. Machado is a member of the American Academy of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association, and the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association. He served as the President of the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association in 2008-2009. He is certified by the American Pharmacists Association to vaccinate patients as well as to train other pharmacists to become vaccinators.
