Sarah Long is a second-year student pharmacist currently attending the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in Morgantown, WV. She is interested in pursuing an acute care residency post-graduation and further specializing in internal or emergency medicine. Sarah is an active member and leader of multiple pharmacy organizations at the local chapter level including APhA, ACCP, ASHP, LKS, PLS, and Rho Chi. She also serves the school as a student ambassador and contributes to a committee that assesses educational outcomes.
Outside of the classroom, Sarah has a passion for education and educational equity, collaborating with the West Virginia Science Public Outreach Team, a state-wide organization, to inspire the youth of West Virginia to pursue careers in the STEM field by providing them with information about the career opportunities within the state.
