Samuel Seo is a dedicated pharmacy student at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts currently pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Samuel strives to further his professional development. He started to work at Dana Farber infusion and outpatient pharmacies in 2021, and interned at Boston Medical Center in the Spring of 2022. He also enjoys taking on leadership positions including Vice President of Northeastern’s America College of Clinical Pharmacy chapter and being an ambassador at Northeastern’s School of Pharmacy. Samuel’s past accomplishments include the National Hispanic Scholar Award at Northeastern University, Northeastern Student Program of the Year, and more. Inspired by his passion for healthcare and psychology, Samuel utilized his background in pharmacy to research the relationship between psychiatric multimorbidity in patients with atrial fibrillation, which he co-authored and will be presenting at this year’s APhA’s Annual Conference.
Ashley Own is a 5th year pharmacy student studying at Northeastern University. Originally a pharmaceutical sciences major, ashley transitioned to pharmacy after her first year because of her strong interests in direct patient care and clinical application. After completing three diverse pharmacy Co-op experiences in Boston, ashley looks forward to further her professional development through her advanced pharmacy practice experiences. With a strong passion for patient advocacy and continuous learning, she hopes to continue to grow her clinical knowledge and skills through a post-graduate residency program. Apart from academics, ashley devotes most of her free time to volunteering as a tutor and music production.
