Dr. Kayla Pangilinan, PharmD, is a current PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident at VCU School of Pharmacy and Kroger Health. In addition to community pharmacy, her professional interests include ambulatory care, holistic wellness, psychiatry, and climate health. As an environmental advocate, she co-founded the organization Sustainable Pharmacy Project and is involved in other organizations including Rx for Climate, the Planetary Health Report Card, and Climate Resources for Health Education. She strives to promote safe medication disposal as a way to keep communities safe and to prevent pharmaceutical pollution. She hopes to continue serving her community by providing medication disposal services and educating others on the environmental impact of medication waste.
