Sura AlMahasis is a dedicated and passionate doctoral student in the Health Services Research in Pharmacy Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is also pursuing a minor in Population Health Sciences and a certificate in Global Health. With a profound interest in antibiotic resistance, AlMahasis is committed to utilizing concepts from implementation science and behavioral economics to elicit change in the antibiotic-prescribing behaviors of healthcare professionals in urgent care. AlMahasis is interested in implementation science, socio-behavioral sciences, health outcomes, and the pharmacist's role in global health.
Prior Education:
AlMahasis earned her MS degree in Health Outcomes Research and Policy from Auburn University in 2021 (Fulbright Scholar) and her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2017.
