Dr. Faiza Sumra is a PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident with Kroger Health and the University of Cincinnati. Faiza is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where she completed her pre-pharmacy coursework at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. In 2023, she graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy. Faiza has been serving the community with Kroger Pharmacy for the last 6 years as a technician, intern, and now pharmacist. Faiza's residency training consists of educating and empowering patients with chronic disease states to achieve their health goals. She is also enrolled in a Master's of Science in Health Outcomes and Pharmacoecomics degree program. After PGY1, she will further her training through the PGY2 Pharmacy Leadership and Administration experience with Kroger Health to help promote the vision of helping people live healthier lives.
