Dr. Leupold is a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and General Internal Medicine Clinics. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 2022 and completed her PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency at Rocking Horse Community Health Center, an FQHC, in Springfield, OH. Dr. Leupold’s current clinical responsibilities include managing patients via collaborative practice agreements in diabetes, hypertension, nicotine dependence, behavioral health, and pre-exposure prophylaxis. Clinical interests include utilizing diabetic technology to manage Type 1 and 2 diabetes and assisting with weight loss using newer agents. With an interest in academia, her PGY2 residency research is focused on competency-based assessments in a clinical skills lab. She has also served as a teaching assistant in a concepts in patient care course focused on self-care and over-the-counter medications. Lastly, she is coordinating a new ambulatory care elective for pharmacy students in Spring 2024.
