Vaccine Navigator Account Specialist

Courtney Humphries, PharmD is a vaccine navigator with Pfizer providing education on COVID vaccine to health care providers. She also serves as a community pharmacist consultant with UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy for a research grant. She uses her year of experience as a Clinical pharmacist across various aspects of pharmacy to provide a well-rounded background in clinical practice and research, management and business acumen, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and professional networking.
Courtney started her career as a pharmacist with Harris Teeter where she assisted with implementing clinical initiatives and sales across 7 states as their clinical care coordinator. During her time there, she served in various roles and capacity from pharmacy manager to member of the corporate operations. Her focus was on immunizations, clinical services, and corporate compliance and training. She was able to improve their divisions vaccination rates year-over-year and was awarded the company’s Black Pen award for her immunization efforts. After leaving community pharmacy, she joined a mobile vaccine company providing vaccines to employers, long-term care facilities, and the community across North and South Carolina. During her short time there she was able to expand their partnerships to more than 50 long-term care facilities, providing pneumococcal and COVID vaccines. In addition, their team was able to collaborate with the county health department to help reach high priority communities and schools for COVID vaccine.
Courtney graduated from UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy with her PharmD with distinction. After which she completed her PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency with Kroger in Raleigh, NC. She looks to leverage her knowledge and experiences to assist with meeting unmet patient and public health needs.
