Adati Tarfa is a postdoctoral associate at Yale School of Medicine Section of Infectious Diseases, within the Yale AIDS Program. Dr. Tarfa holds a PharmD from Drake University (2017) and an MS and PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy (2023). Dr. Tarfa's research focuses on pharmacist-centric methodologies, employing mixed methods and social behavioral theories to develop and disseminate interventions addressing comorbid substance use disorders and HIV. Dr. Tarfa's Yale Postdoc program centers around the United State's first legal retail mobile pharmacy, known as the “Integrated Mobile Opioid Treatment and Infectious disease cOordinated care in your Neighborhood” project (InMOTION), funded by Dr. Sandra Springer's National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Avant Garde Award Program for HIV and Substance Use Disorder Research.
