Dr. Ashley Hannings is the Associate Director for Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 2011 and then completed a PGY-1 residency at the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University/Jefferson County Department of Health in Birmingham, AL. She also completed a PGY-2 residency in community pharmacy/academia through the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Kerr Drug in Chapel Hill. Dr. Hannings is currently a faculty member at UGA based out of the Division of Experience Programs and works with students during their Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE). In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the coordinator for the college’s immunization program and the college’s Professional Certificate in Pharmacy Entrepreneurship.
