Assistant Professor and Clinical Pharmacist
The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and PrimaryOne Health
Christopher Hernandez is a current PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy resident at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in conjunction with PrimaryOne Health. Even before pharmacy school, there has been a significant focus on providing care to the underserved. That continues to be true as a current resident who spends 80% of his time practicing in the family medicine clinic at a federally qualified health center. Chris has presented many posters at national, state, and local conferences in the research of academia, diabetes, professional development, health disparities, and survey-based research. Chris completed his PGY1 at UC San Diego Health in Ambulatory Care. He received his PharmD from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, NV. After his PGY2, Chris aspires to be a clinical assistant professor to continue his core teaching, scholarship, and service pillars.
