Reem Alharithi is a third-year student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a bachelors of science in pharmacology and drug development with a minor in psychology. Her research area of interest is primarily regulatory science with a focus on the safety and efficacy of psychiatric medications. She also assists with other research projects headed by faculty in the USC Department of Psychology. Outside of research, Reem has a variety of other roles and interests. She is the chief communications officer at TACO Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to reducing accidental drug overdose via accessible scientific information about drugs and the dissemination of subsidized harm-reduction tools. She looks forward to pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology in the future.
