PhD candidate in Health Services Research in Pharmacy
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Bonyan received her Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy at Jordan University in 2012. Following her graduation, she worked as a hospital pharmacist at a cancer center in Jordan. Her career took a different turn when she decided to leave her clinical role and started a new position as a lecturer and preceptor at Batterjee Medical College in Saudi Arabia in 2013. She found that she has passion for teaching and being around students which motivated her to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW). She is working under the supervision of Professor Betty Chewning to develop and test digital health interventions that empower patients to be active participants in medication counseling and the decision making. At UW, she enjoys doing interventional research and leading discussion sections for the Communication course.
