Samantha Jaboro is a third-year student pharmacist currently pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at Wayne State University (WSU) Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She currently holds the esteemed position of President of the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists for the term 2023-2024. Samantha has actively engaged in research collaborations with students, faculty, and the University of Detroit Mercy's dental school to assess the importance of interprofessional practices within healthcare settings. She is a strong advocate for interprofessional practice to elevate patient care and comprehension. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Samantha also serves as the Treasurer of the Student Pediatric Pharmacy Association and as the Historian of the Student Pharmacists Diversity Council at Wayne State University. She is deeply involved in a pharmacy internship at a community pharmacy and actively participates in various community service initiatives at the university. Samantha is dedicated to broadening her expertise in the pharmacy profession through a diverse range of rotation experiences. Her unwavering commitment to patient care is exemplified in her approach to ensuring that each patient receives care as if they were my own family.
