Scott Sexton, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Sexton practices in an ambulatory care setting, with a focus on chronic disease management. He has a passion for teaching and helping individuals with substance use disorder. With a focus on opioid use disorder, Dr. Sexton has participated in many practice management interventions to assist with harm reduction, access to treatment, and recovery assistance. Currently, Dr. Sexton serves as the Principal Investigator for a 3-year Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant to combat opioid use disorder in rural Michigan.
