My name is Tia Fulton, PharmD, and I am a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Resident at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy/Kroger. I was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. My dream has always been to become a pharmacist. I did not know when or how, but I was determined to wear a white coat and serve patients in a pharmacy one day. I decided to take a leap of faith and move from my hometown to Memphis, Tennessee in 2019 where I attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). During my matriculation at UTHSC, I earned two more degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Doctorate of Pharmacy. After completion of my doctorate degree, I moved back home to Arkansas to pursue a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy/Kroger.
