Federal Pharmacy programs are challenged with a myriad of constant changes however the prevention of drug diversion must remain at the highest priority. It is imperative for pharmacist to understand their roles and responsibilities at all the levels of the organizational structure to increase the programs ability to prevent losses and diversion. Designing a pharmacy that examines the system design and consistently address the obstacles to the workflow will significantly reduce the risks associated with drug diversion.
