APhA Second General Session

Emcee Nimit Jindal will again lead the Second General Session. Incoming APhA President, Alex Varkey, will provide his vision of what is coming up in the next year at APhA and in the pharmacy profession. We will recognize the winners of the Daniel B. Smith Practice Excellence Award and honor the new group of APhA Fellows.

You will meet the APhA Board of Trustees and the candidates for the next president-elect and the Honorary President and Honorary Members will be recognized. And we want to hear from you! You will have the opportunity to interact with the emcee and provide your input into this empowering session.

Then, we’ll gain insights on breaking through barriers, pushing past limits, and unleashing our full potential from our Keynote speaker, Carey Lohrenz, the first female F-14 Tomcat pilot in the U.S. Navy. Carey has flown missions worldwide as a combat-mission-ready United States Navy pilot and is used to working in fast moving, dynamic environments, where inconsistent execution can generate catastrophic results. Carey’s experience in the all-male environment of fighter aviation and her ability to pass on the lessons learned in her career will offer insight and guidance on Unleashing the Power in our own professional lives.
