There are a variety of dietary behaviors, habits, and health conditions prevalent in the United States that can lead to key nutrient gaps contributing to nutrient insufficiencies, deficiencies, and further health issues. This session will broaden the audience’s understanding and knowledge of the prevalent nutrient
gaps that exist within the United States population and why it is important to address them. The discussion will include a review of the latest research and recommendations on how to best address nutrient gaps in the diet for patients amongst different age groups, demographics, and with different health concerns.
