Digital and technology-based products offer opportunities to improve patient engagement in their care, connect healthcare providers to underserved patient populations, and harness data and analytics to improve population-based care. Despite the benefits, concerns with cybersecurity and the potential to increase health inequities have recently come to light. This session will explore the innovative use of technology, how it has supplemented clinical practice and strategies to overcome barriers and risks identified with its use.
