Attend this open forum to gain insights and share successes, challenges, and best practices in the delivery of pain management, substance use disorders, and harm reduction services. With recent clinical, regulatory, and legislative changes, pharmacists play an important and expanded role in ensuring medication access, evidence-based prevention and treatment, and team-based patient care in this space. This open forum will cover practice, policy, and research updates related to pain management, opioid use and misuse, medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder including new opportunities with the MAT Act, challenges with the rise of xylazine, and harm reduction expansion with OTC naloxone.
