Pharmacists play an essential role in public health by mitigating risks and ensuring the availability of medications and services. Prior to and during the recent COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacists and their teams demonstrated their role in public health and kept their communities protected. A panel of experts will discuss patient-centered public health initiatives and efforts that benefit from having pharmacist involvement through identification of community health needs and partnership with public health entities.

Identify best practices and opportunities for pharmacists and pharmacy personnel to engage and participate in public health initiatives.
