  • Describe when layered learning is an appropriate precepting method.
  • Identify strategies for successful implementation of a layered learning model in practice.
  • Discuss techniques to prepare IPPE students, APPE students, and pharmacy residents to become preceptors.
  • List activities for students to complete when under the supervision of layered precepting.
