This program will serve to provide education to pharmacists on the proper management of financial resources to maximize their money when paying off loans and investing for future planning/retirement. Pharmacists will learn tips for financial flexibility by identifying resources and opportunities available to them as healthcare professionals looking to capitalize on their earnings early in their careers.  

Learning Objectives:

Compare and contrast 3 loan repayment strategies which may be used to reduce relative interest paid over the life of a loan
Describe how to calculate payments on the SAVE and PAYE plan using case studies. 
Explain the significance of AGI and the primary variables used to calculate it as it relates to student loan repayments and investments
Recall key tax-related features of the following types of investment accounts: tax-deferred, tax-preferred, taxable, and HSA
