Recently, the nation’s first hormonal contraceptive was approved for over-the-counter use. Additionally, several states have empowered pharmacists to furnish a prescription for hormonal contraceptives under collaborative practice agreement, protocol, independent prescriptive authority or standing order. Attend this session to learn how this expanded scope impacts the practice of pharmacy.
