Lifestyle management and modification are just as important as pharmacologic management in people with diabetes.  Attend this session to hear about all the other things you should be encouraging your patients to do besides “take your Ozempic”. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain principles of medical nutrition therapy for people with diabetes and outcomes associated. 
  • Discuss nonpharmacologic strategies for glucose and overall health improvement in people with diabetes.   
  • Identify strategies to overcome barriers that may impact patients’ ability to follow lifestyle management recommendations.
