Differentiating between asthma and COPD in older adults is often complicated, but critical to ensure optimally effective pharmacotherapy and minimize adverse events.  Attend this session to hear two experts debate it out – Is it asthma? Is it COPD? What is the best pharmacotherapeutic option for the patient? And while they argue, you’ll learn all about relevant updates and guideline recommendations.

  • Compare and contrast clinical presentation and diagnostic criteria of asthma and COPD. 
  • Differentiate between clinical practice guideline recommendations for patients with asthma and COPD.
